Fundraising - How We Rely on Fundraised Income
Loughrea Family and Community Resource Centre fundraising team co-ordinates a calendar of diverse fundraising events and activities throughout the year. These events are our main way of raising regular and sustainable funds for our Services, so your support is very important to us.
We are dependent on fundraising in order to continue to provide essential services. Although we do receive government funding, it only covers the salaries of our small staff team and some of our overheads. The remaining deficit must be made up of fundraising activities, donations and corporate giving in order to provide essential services.
This year is particularly challenging as in order to build our new resource centre we need to raise an additional €80,000 to expand our service and assist us in meeting the needs of the community for the long term.
By organising an event and getting your friends to support you, or by you supporting an event, you are making a very valuable contribution to your Community.
